05/06/09--09:03: Moar life updates. XD (chan 2059845)

So, I took the SATs on Saturday. *assumes fetal position* The math portion was absolutely HORRIBLE. It was all Algebra II and Geometry, which I haven't taken yet (I'm taking them next year.) But Mrs. Messier said not to worry about it cuz I wasn't taught that stuff yet. But I still stressed about it.

BUT, I can say with confidence that I did well on the english/reading parts. Especially the editing and revising. It makes me feel good that I'm good at that kind of stuff and I (mostly) know how to use proper spelling/grammar. Sometimes I know I make mistakes, but that's okay. XDDDD

Enough about the Saturday from hell. XD My aunt called me on Saturday and told me that my half brother Stephen is coming up from Florida on the 13th. He's the one who just got married in December.. and he's 18! I wonder if he'll bring his wifey with him. And I was also wondering; would that make her my half sister by marriage...? o_O I never talk to Stephen anyway, so whatevs. XD But I'm excited to see him. I think the last time I saw him was... *thinks* 3 years ago? *shrugs* Iunno. It's weird to say, but it's hard to think of him as a brother cuz he's never really been in my life. But I'll try to treat him like one.

Hmm, what else? OH! I'm taking my driving school final tonight. *sob* I've been having so little faith in myself the past few days and I'm really worried about the test tonight. T_T And then on Saturday, my mom is taking me to the DMV to take my permit test, so I'm also stressing about THAT cuz as most of you know, I took it back in October and failed. >_> Then that same day I got fired from Dunkin' Donuts. Yeah... that wasn't a good day. The test costs a total of $58, so I need to study up hard so I can pass this one and not let my mom down again. Plus I wanna driiiiive but I need to do it legally, plzkaythnx. XD

And then in 4 months I can gets my liscense! *dances* It's still kinda hard to believe that I'm gonna be a driver soon. When I turned 16, I didn't get a huge party and the shiny silver car from Daddy dearest; I wasn't raised that way and that's not what I want. I simply hope I don't screw it up; I wouldn't know what to do with myself. Probably dig myself out of the grave my mom would put me in.

I think that's it. I was getting sick of seeing that quiz on my page. XD

Actually, just Saturday was awesome, but that pretty much counts as my weekend. XD

So, I went to the DMV to take my permit test. I literally passed by one point. What else is new? XD Then around 3 o'clock I went to Nolan Field in Ansonia to watch some kids I know play football. ~SarunoUchiha was there and we were spectators. XD

After that, we went to a party literally down the street from Nolan Field. It was awesome. Obviously, I didn't drink or anything but it was still fun to just get out of the house and meet new people and hang out with good friends. I had a really good time.

And on a side note, I'm very happy for two certain ppl. <33333 :3

Hmm, that's it. Just thought I'd share my weekend with you guys. XD

~fromXchiyoXtoXsayuri It's from the book/movie Memoirs of a Geisha. Before she becomes a geisha, the main character's name is Chiyo. Later on, she's called Sayuri. For a while I hated my username but it's grown on me. I think Sayuri is sooo pretty for a name. *dreamy sigh*

I needs to get that journal off muh page. It's pissing me off. XDDD

Um, there's not much to report on. I had a really nice weekend in New York. :3 And then on Monday, I finally went to JoAnn Fabrics with ~SarunoUchiha to get the stuff for my Shirley cosplay. Here's a pic: [link] Her skirt is MAD short, but luckily I have a black skirt that's longer without making it look stupid. My aunt is gonna make the jacket. :3

And then when we were done at JoAnn's, we went to Petco and I decided to buy a new fishy. He's soooo cute! He's a little carp. He kinda looks like this, only smaller and pure gold. [link] I named him Kohaku. :3 I love watching him swim aroundddd.

Umm, I think that's it. School's almost out! *dances* The summer is gonna be great. :3

So Zack apparently got a text from Curtis saying that my aunt Lori was submitted to the hospital for pnuemonia and passed away. And Zack's leaving it up to ME to tell her cuz he's not very good at stuff like that. It's a lot of pressure. What can I possibly say? I need to think about it for a while before I figure out what to do. *sigh*

And the worst part is, I'm not crying for my aunt. I never really knew her growing up, and I'm having a hard time shedding tears. It's weird, cuz I feel like I should. Maybe it'll hit me later.




06/10/09--17:00: I want my baby back. T_T (chan 2059845)

I'm pretty sure I've told most of you about my other cat, Milo. When we moved from Naugatuck to Seymour, we left him behind with our neighbor, Patti. Well, about three weeks ago, Patti's boyfriend's pit bull apprently snapped and killed another dog, bit someone, and killed a couple cats.

Naturally, I was very worried that Milo got killed but I found out that he was fine; he just had a cast on his leg. I assumed that he got hurt by the dog, but my mom told me that a few boys in the neighborhood got ahold of him and broke his leg. T_T But charges weren't pressed. *snarl* I wish I could go beat them up, those jerks. NO cat (or animal) deserves to get hurt on purpose. I could go on an animal rights rant right now, but I'll refrain.

Anywayz, my mom told me that Patti is selling her house and moving to (possibly) New York and she said we could take Milo. YES PLZ. It's not that I don't like or distrust Patti, I just know that Milo won't get hurt if he's with us cuz he'll be an indoor cat.

I haven't seen him in about 6 or 7 years and I miss him sooo much. He's a fat little bundle of love. :3 He's orange and white. We were gonna name him Creamsicle, but I thought it was stupid. XD

So, we may possibly be getting a family member back! I hope so; he belongs with us. But I'll feel bad for Patti's other cat, Buddy. He and Milo are close just like my two cats Fluffy and Socks are and we'll be taking his friend away. That really will bother me, but above all I want Milo backkkkk.

I don't know... I feel like this week isn't even happening. XD Nothing but exams is frying muh brainz! D: But I'm glad it's almost over. It's not that school was that hard for me, it's just that it'll be nice to have a few months to relax.

I'll miss all the seniors next year, including our own ~OmniBrawler. But can you guys believe it?! Next year we're gonna be the upperclassmen! I just hope I'm not intimidating. XD

Right now I'm sitting in Web Design. I just finished my exam and I've got like, 50 minutes to kill. I wish YouTube wasn't blocked. =/ I also have my first driving lesson with Elite at 12: 30 and this'll be my first time driving in some serious rain. I've driven when it was drizzling, but this is new to me. >_>

I kinda just wanna go home and do nothing. Well, I do need to study a little for my Environmental Science exam tomorrow. Ready, Matt? XD

But to be honest I don't think I could tell what a Mary-Sue is. XD

Horrible grammatical errors like run on sentences. Also saying "your" when it's supposed to be "you're." For instance, "Your cool." *eye twitch* That's saying that they OWN a cool, which is impossible. GAH!! "Your" is ownership! "You're" is a contraction for "you are." GET IT RIGHT! *foams at mouth*

Anything that will keep me hooked. Sometimes simply the way it's written with amazing words will keep me reading.


25) What got you started in writing?
I honestly think it came from my love for reading. I started writing really crappy fanfics in 6th grade and it grew from there.

Because... I can say all the things I want to on paper that can't come from my lips.

Practice, research, read, and NEVER doubt yourself.

06/28/09--19:56: Surgery, among other things. XD (chan 2059845)

So tomorrow my mom's going into surgery for her um, I think right wrist. XD And then six weeks after that she's going for her other wrist. I have to drive her to the hospital and then stay there during the surgery. I just hope I don't get massively bored. XD I'm bringing a book and my DS but I have no idea how long it's gonna take.

Last night I went to an symphony orchestra concert in Bridgeport with ~SarunoUchiha and her parents. OMG, it was amaaaaaazing! Apparently they have it every year in the last week of June and it's free! The music was beautiful. The only songs I knew were a song from Harry Potter and from Pirates of the Caribbean. They also played the 1812 Overture as a finale. Now THAT was cool. X3

ConnectiCon is coming up August 1st and I'm so excited! I still need to get together with my aunt so she can make my jacket. I also NEED to order a wig and a tie ASAP. My mom said we can go to the bank before her surgery in the morning so I can withdraw the money and she can put it on her credit card. I don't like wigs, but I don't have a choice cuz my character has long orange hair. =/ But next year we're going as street style Kingdom Hearts characters and I'm going as Naminé so I don't need a wig! *dances*

I saw Transformers 2 tonight and it was EPIC. I highly recommend you go see it if you get the chance. And I finally saw a trailer for the Avatar movie! I've been waiting for one for forever. All it was was Aang Airbending some candles out and a man narrating. Then it went to an outside shot of the Air Temple and it showed Fire Nation soldiers climbing the cliffs and their ships firing at the Temple. The ships were really cool. XDD I also saw a trailer for this movie called 9 and it seriously looks amazing. It's animated but the plot is smart.

Hmm, I think that's it. My job hunt at a daycare is in vain. D: I think I'm gonna apply to Stop&Shop again. *shrugs* It's better than nothing. How's your summer going so far? :3

Yesh, and it's right up my alley. I babysit for a woman not too far from me. I saw her ad in One More Tyme (the consignment shop) and I gave her a call. Today was my first time. The kids were sweet. They're a boy and a girk, 5 and 6. The girl is VERY bossy of her little brother and at one point she told me, "I can do whatever I want." I was like, "ORLY? Excuse me, Princess. That's the way you wanna play? All right." Except I said all that in my head. XD I'm sure I said the same stuff when I was her age, but I'm older now and I've outgrown that attitude. I just she outgrows hers. I may need to help. XD

I'll need more experience before I make anymore judgments about them. The boy was sweet but I was told that he can get hyper, which I don't doubt; all little boys are hyper. X3

So, yeah. My days are Tues-Fri and my hours are 2:30-4, except Fridays, which is 12:30-4. They pay $7/hour, which I'm not complaining about. I need all the money I can get for ConnectiCon (which is less than a month away!!! ^o^)

That meme was getting annoying. DX

So, ConnectiCon is roughly two weeks away and I'm getting more and more excited every day! ^o^ ~SarunoUchiha styled my wig so that's all set. Now I just need to get my jacket from my aunt and buy socks. I also need my aunt to alter my skirt and make it smaller cuz I lost almost 20 pounds and it doesn't fit anymore! It seriously just barely stays on my hips, which isn't good cuz if we're dancing or something at the Con, the last thing I need is for my skirt to fall down and the chances of it getting on YouTube. T_T

Hmm, what else? I have driving lessons this Friday which I need to reschedule cuz I'm working. To be honest, I'm terrified of the permit driving test. I have little confidence in myself and I'm afraid that I'll screw up and fail. T_T But I don't have time to worry about that! I'd much rather worry about ConnectiCon. At least that will bring something good. XD OH! And guess who's going to C-Con? `kris-wilson right here from dA!! My brother got to meet him when he went to Comic-Con a few months back and now it's my turn! Fweeee~

07/29/09--21:14: 2 days!! *o* (shot for updating too much) XD (chan 2059845)

I know, I've been putting up an excessive amount of journal entries about ConnectiCon lately, but I can't help it. Now that I've gotten a taste for it and I know what's in store for me I'm even more stoked! And the fact that `kris-wilson is going just makes it even betterrrr~ X3

My aunt has my jacket like, 3/4 done. It looks like a vest right now. XD She had me try it on to see if the bust and stuff fit comfortably, which it did. And she made the sleeves but she wanted to make sure they were the right length before she put them on the jacket, which they were. XD And I ended up buying a skirt at a consignment shop for like, $5 so she doesn't have to worry about altering the one I originally planned to wear. But I gave it to her anyway cuz that's one of my favorite skirts.

My wig and tie are all in order, so there's no need to worry about that. And as for shoes, I'm wearing ~SarunoUchiha's mom's shoes. (Was that proper grammar...? o_O) I just hope my feet don't get shot to CRAP like they did last year. That was NOT pleasant. -_-;

TOTALLY POINTLESS PARAGRAPH:
Now I just need to go to the bank and withdraw some monies. I have enough! Yay~ I'm so glad I have a job. ^o^ But my only dilemma is which plushie I'm gonna buy this year. A Moogle was perfect last year cuz it's both Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, so it was all good. But this year I'm thinking maybe Fruits Basket cuz I'm so into that series (I'm only 4 volumes away from finishing the manga) that I think it's worthy of a plushie. XD Either that or FMA. But I think I love Furuba more. XD But if I do go with FB, then WHO?! D: Bah, whatever. I'll figure it out when I get there. lol.

08/02/09--19:46: ConnectiCon. <3 (chan 2059845)

Ahh, another year gone by. I have to say, this year was a lot more... calmer than last year. And I like last year better but only by a teeny bit. Probably cuz it was my first con.

Okay, this is how my day went:
1) We went to see the FMV contest cuz my friend ~RikuLuvr's video was a finalist. *SPAMZ* Watch it here: [link]

2) After that we went to a room where there were a bunch of comic arists and I scoped out `kris-wilson. The room was kinda small so it wasn't hard. But he wasn't there and when I asked someone where he could be they said probably the Dealer's Room, and I knew we'd prolly see him cuz we were definitely going to the DR.

3) Umm, we met up with ~israel-sakura. She was late. XD Lessee, I think we finally went to the Dealer's Room after that. I'd decided to buy a Fruits Basket plushie but didn't see any. I asked a dealer if there were any here and they said no. They said FB plushies were made but you could probably only get them offline. T_T So I spent a lot of time contemplating what/who to buy but during that time I got some more stuff. I got pins from The World Ends with You (a DS game). I also got a little chibi keychain of Kallen from Code Geass. It was in a bag and you couldn't tell who was in there. Oh well. I like Kallen. XD
I was on a quest to buy Fruits Basket volume 20 and I did! Yay~ I'm soooo close to finshing the series! But that's besides the point. *shot*

4) We went to the food court and took a little break. I texted my friend Missy, whom I met last year and asked if she was here. She called me back and apparently the ppl who were gonna give her a ride never showed up. She kept apologizing but it really wasn't her fault. That was the first time I actually talked to her. Like, with vocal cords. XDDD

5) While we were eating we saw a bunch of other Code Geass cosplayers and they told us about a photoshoot that was going on in a few minutes. Good thing we were almost done eating. XD So we headed toward the shoot. On the way down we went down these nice red-carpeted stairs and ~SarunoUchiha had ~israel-sakura and I be on her arms and we went down the stairs. I told her to look smug like she was a pimp. XDDD She was cosplaying a guy and ~israel-sakura and I were her 'girlfriends' in the series. It's a bit confusing. XD

6) The photoshoot was AWESOME. We went outside to do it in this little grassy area. I took all the ones I could that involved my character. XD I had one taken one of only me with my camera for my mom and while I was posing, almost everyone took pictures. I felt shy. X3 I also got a nice picture of Sarah and I posing with our characters and another more serious one. There were lots of creative ones as well. And we met a lot of cool ppl whom we saw throughout the day. :3

7) We took a 20-minute break after that cuz it was hot out and we were all a little dehydrated and I called my mom. We went back to the Dealer's Room after that and I ended up getting a Demyx plushie. He looks adorable! >w< This is Demyx for those who aren't Kingdom Hearts fans: [link] He's a 'villian' but he's the screwball villian of the game. XD And while we were there, I saw `kris-wilson's table but he wasn't there! The other two guys who do Cyanide and Happiness were, but there was a sign that said "R.I.P. Kris" where he was supposed to be. And we were leaving so I didn't get to meet him. Oh well. =/

I think that's pretty much it. Like I said, this year wasn't NEARLY as crazy as last year but it was still a lot of fun. There aren't any pics up yet but if there are, I'll let you know.

Bob's mom passed away on Sunday and I just got back from the funeral. That was the third one this year I've been to. No moar! T_T The service was held at the church she was a part of and it was nice. It was like in the movies; there was singing and a few eulogies. Bob said a few words. Then we went (as a procession line) to the cemetery and buried her. After we went to a nice restaurant where I had delicious pasta and a Shirley Temple. ^_^ And that was that.

I have a new found love for Teen Titans. *shot* I used to watch it when I was younger, in elementary school and back then it was all about cool kids with cool powers. XD But now that I'm older and I'm watching it again, I realize that there's so much deep psychology behind it and I LOVE itttt~ Like, I love how the 'main' villian Slade pushes Robin to the breaking point of obsession and making him lose it more than once. I dig that. XD I've read some of the episode summaries on Wikipedia and some of them are really intense. *_*

Anyways, enough about my cartoon babbling. XD We go back to school two weeks from tomorrow. You guys ready? XD I've been waiting to go back. I'm bored out of my flippin' mind and I actually wanna DO SOMETHING with my days besides sitting around. =/ So needless to say I'm a little excited to go back. idk about the rest of you, though. XD

As I'm sure you're aware, we got our schedules in the mail yesterday. If you wanna know mine, tell me here and I'll note it to you. I'm a little sketchy about posting it online, what with all the creepers out there. >_>

I got all my clothes shopping done~ I got 4 shirts and two pairs of jeans. I need new shoes so we're yet to get those. We just got back from the mall. I love shopping. X3 While we were there, I sold 4 of my DS games to GameStop; Big Brain Academy, Trace Memory, and both my Nintendogs games. I also had my Spyro game for the PS2 in my purse but I forgot all about that. *shot* But I pre-ordered Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days!! >w< I'm soooo excited for that!

That's pretty much it. Idk what I'm gonna do about babysitting when the school year starts. But if they don't need me then I'm gonna apply to a daycare in Oxford. I know a girl who works there. :3
