Today was really, really cool. Wanna know why? Well, first there was Sarah's art show at a gallery downtown. I went to another of her shows in November '08, so it's been a while since I've been there. But I love it there; the atmosphere is so cool and warm. Plus I saw two mf my teachers there; my art teacher cuz she was supporting a former student of hers and my English teacher cuz her daughter was in the actual show.

I was getting quite sick of seeing that long thing on my page, so I decided to just do a normal update. xD

Not much happening. I'm getting more and more stoked about graduation!! For the past few months, I've been kinda neutral about it, but now that I'm talking about it more, it's becoming more real to me. I got a letter in the mail from school on Saturday talking about graduation tickets and I was like, "Oh, my God, this is really happening, isn't it?" So needless to say, I'm not so neutral anymore. I had a blast this morning! It was totally worth getting up before the sun. We had to be at school at 4:45 am at head for the gym. Four of my friends were there, so I wasn't alone. xD They did live shots every ten minutes, and when the guy alerted us, we stood up on the bleachers and cheered. There was a DJ and he played some line dances. The ones I did were "The Cotton-Eyed Joe" "The Cha Cha Slide" and a new one that I learned right then and there called "The Cupid Shuffle". I love line dancing, so that was the best part for me. :la:

I just got back from watching the LOST series finale at a friend's house. It was absolutely perfect. I couldn't ask for a better ending. :heart: I cried (of course) and I leave the show very very satisfied. :nod:

So, I had my senior picnic today. It was at Holiday Hill in Prospect and I had a total blast. There wasn't one moment where I wasn't doing something or was bored. :D

I'll list what I can remember.

:bulletpurple: When we got there, I had one of the doughnuts that they were serving for breakfast, as well as an apple danish. Then we went down to the pool and were there maybe about an hour.

:bulletpurple: Then we went to a field where they had this giant inflatable obstacle course where you can race someone through it. I raced Matt and won, then I raced Sam and she won. There was a moon-bounce, which I was in for about five minutes. And

Man, AquaTurf was everything I thought it would be~ God, it was gorgeous. *o*

Well, Skell and I got a ride with Sam and we were the first of our friends to get there. >D We spent about half an hour just milling around until everyone arrived. After that they opened up the buffet and I must've had about five of those things that look like croissants and are stuffed with crab meat. :drool: And I had this delicious white pasta.

After that we went out on the dance floor to work off the food. I swear, there were babies being made on that floor. Holy crap. XD My friends and I stayed outside of that 'orgy' because we'd rather keep our virginity

It was a HUGE disappointment. Dx I mean, I went in expecting disappointment, because I'd heard from others that it was rather bad. But, MAN... this was just heinous. x_x

Oh, and just as a heads-up, there are slight spoilers in this rant journal. They're not terrible, but if you ever wanna see the movie and/or the series (I recommend the latter) then don't read. :P

Funimation is dubbing Axis Powers Hetalia..... ._.

I dunno, it doesn't seem like a series that should be dubbed. I've only seen a few episodes and I love it in Japanese; I think it's funnier that way.

Not much to report, I guess. My weeks have been quite busy, particularly Tues-Thurs. I've been doing something very important. :3 I've also had two appointments with NVCC; one for my placement test and one to meet with an academic adviser. ... for my absence. Explanation tiem~! :dummy:

Okay, so my laptop's charger cable was ripping because it didn't have any support where I put it at night. My bad. ;A; So I put a million layers of electric tape around it, but sometimes when I bumped it, it would think it was unplugged even though it was plugged in. So I wiggled it around a little until it was 'plugged back in.' But a few days ago, it would plug in to my laptop but not charge it. So, even though my battery was low, it wouldn't charge when plugged in, but it wouldn't have the low battery indicator anymore.

So on Sunday the cable finally bit the dust and it won't charge at a

Well, now that I'm all settled, I guess it's time to write a journal about recent stuff.

Biggest thing is that I'm not starting college until January, the spring semester, instead of September. Main reason was transportation issues. I didn't have enough money to take the bus and/or train and I don't have a car of my own, or my license. So now I'm working very hard to find a job so I can save money for a car and its insurance. Starbucks said they'd call if a student position opened, and I'm pestering Stop & Shop. There are a few other places I went to that haven't called me yet, so I'll call them soon.

We had to put a kitty down today. We took him in this past fall and we knew from the beginning he was sick. He came out of nowhere and we found him huddled in the leaves so we took him in because it was starting to get really cold at night. He took to us immediately and was so sweet. My mom named him Alera after another rescue cat she saw on YouTube. Poor thing was so skinny and never gained weight so we suspected worms. Our other cats accepted him with seemingly no problem and never bothered him, something which amazed me. Maybe they knew he was sick.

My mom decided today to put him to sleep because she noticed he wasn't eating. He would

I have the worst times with laptop chargers. ;A; Remember my last one that ripped? Well now this one simply refuses to work. A couple weeks ago, the little light in the black box wouldn't come on, which meant it wouldn't charge. I think it was the cable connecting to the black box, the one that detatches. But if I wiggled it a certain way or whatever, then it would work. There was even a time when I would have to prop the box upright against my purse in order to make it work. Well now the light won't come on no matter what I do, so I think it died or something. OTL I thought for sure I would be laptop-less for quite a while but my mom surpris

Well, work's been keeping me busy. I'm so glad I have a job now and I actually really enjoy it, as well as the people I work with. I have the cash register mastered (liek a boss) and haven't really run into any major problems. Plus it feels great to make my own money.

A lot's happened in these past few months, both good and bad. In a nutshell, my brother, mother and I aren't living together anymore. Irene hit late Saturday night/Sunday morning. I woke up around 5:30 a.m. when I heard my AC turning on and off so I knew we were losing power at that point, which I totally expected. I was on/off awake for a few hours after that and called the power company to report our outage around 8:30. I slept for a few hours after that. Then when I woke up, my friend and I headed to the park a block away to survey the damage where I met up with my friend Andrew from work. After he left we took a walk around town and there were people everywhere taking pictures of the river. Guys, it was the highest I've ever seen it. Kinda disconcerting,

Well hi there. :D

It's been a while since my last entry. That's mostly because my laptop got some nasty malware called a root kit and I had to take it to Staples to get it fixed. I was without Internet for a month. My laptop itself worked fine, it just wouldn't connect to the Internet. And it was my laptop's problem because the rest of the house was able to get on the Internet just fine. But it's all better now and purring like a kitten~

Other than that not much has changed. Still makin' the sammiches at Subway. Work's been pretty slow lately since it's winter, but my boss said come spring, my hours should pick up again. I'm still happy
